Its Been So Long...

Back again after so long. This is a in the works piece for my digital painting class. Still needs a lot of work.

Distant Dreams (Final Photoshop Painting)

Well here is the final for project 3. Took me forever and I still think it could be better. Im happy with it though.

Fancy Dry Eyes

Filters applied to "The Girl With The Pearl Earring," (1665) painted by Johannes Vermeer.

Mmm Fruity (Digitally Painted Still Life)

Distant Dreams (Color)

Finally, here are very rough, very desaturated color studies.

Distant Dreams (Value)

...and here are some value studies. I'm fond of the idea of having it at night to really play up the lights of the city.

Distant Dreams (Rough)

So here is another rough for project 3. I want to do this one more than the previous.

Dry Eyes

Here is a super close up of "The Girl With The Pearl Earring," (1665) painted by Johannes Vermeer.

Spherin'!!!

Here are the studies of different brushes in photoshop.

Photoshopping

So here is a very very rough drawing and a value study for a possible sketchbook transition into Photoshop. I'm not sure yet if this is the one I want to bring to completion.

So here are some of the ideas for Project 2 put through Google sketch-up. The first action is doing the laundry, the second is taking out the trash, and the third is mowing the lawn.
